ARTIST'S BIO

The past two years have been exciting for me, as I am now a member of the San Francisco Artists Guild, a venerable institution of 50 years, which promotes artists in the most prominent parks and public square of San Francisco; exhibiting and selling our original works directly to art lovers from around the world. I remember seeing these groups when my family first moved to the Bay area in 1969. Even before I dreamt of being an artist myself, I realized that those people and that work was somehow connected to me.

Unfortunately, recently, I have had to give up my painting studio, and the New California Gallery which I shared with plein air painter Steven Guy Bilodeau. We met over seven years ago painting with the Konocti Plein Air Painters and have developed a great friendship and professional respect for each other. We paint together often in the golden hills and vineyards of Lake county.

I arrived in Lake county twenty years ago from the Bay Area, where I went to high school, college and first career years; first in commodities trading and then freelancing for advertising agencies and design studios. Museums, galleries, and culture in San Francisco, Berkeley, the North Bay, opened up to me and inspired me.
